How to Create a PDF from Your Notes
Meeting notes, a reading list or a quick handout look more finished as a PDF — and they print the same everywhere. Notes to PDF turns plain text into a clean document, with optional headings, lists and bold text.
Open Notes to PDFStep by step
Open Notes to PDF
Type your notes or paste them in. Nothing is uploaded; the PDF is created in your browser.
Add a title
The title appears at the top of the first page and becomes the PDF’s document title.
Choose the page layout
Pick A4, Letter or Legal paper, a margin, a font and a font size. Turn page numbers on or off.
Check the preview
The preview shows the actual pages — the same line breaks and page breaks as the downloaded PDF.
Download the PDF
Press Download PDF. The text in the file is real text, so it can be searched, selected and copied.
Simple formatting
With “Simple formatting” on, a line starting with # becomes a heading (## for a smaller one), lines starting with - or 1. become lists, **double asterisks** make text bold and *single asterisks* make it italic. A line of three dashes draws a horizontal rule. Turn formatting off to keep every character exactly as typed.
Which characters are supported
Notes to PDF uses the standard PDF fonts (Helvetica, Times and Courier), which cover English and Western European languages, including accents, curly quotes, dashes and the euro sign. Characters outside that set — such as emoji, Chinese, Arabic or Devanagari — are listed before you download, rather than silently turning into question marks. For those, your browser’s Print → Save as PDF uses your system fonts.
Try Notes to PDF
Type or paste notes, choose the page and font size, preview the pages and save a real PDF.
