Questions about PNG to JPG

More answers in the TextVix FAQ.

What happens to transparent areas?

JPG can’t store transparency, so they are filled with the background colour you choose — white by default.

Which quality should I pick?

85–90 looks like the original for most photos. For screenshots with small text, use 90 or more, or keep PNG.

Can I convert several files at once?

Yes — up to 20 images. Each is converted separately, failures are listed per file, and you can download everything as one ZIP.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Images are decoded and converted by your browser, on your device. TextVix never receives them.
