How to use Compare Two Lists

  1. Paste the first list into List A and the second into List B — one item per line.
  2. Choose what to show: common lines, only in A, only in B, all unique lines, or duplicates.
  3. Matching ignores case and surrounding spaces by default; change that in the options.
  4. Copy or download the result as TXT, CSV or JSON.

Example

Before
List A: Apple, Banana, Orange
List B: Banana, Orange, Grape
After
Common: Banana, Orange
Only in A: Apple
Only in B: Grape

Each item is on its own line in the editors.

Good for

  • Finding which customers or subscribers are missing from another list
  • Checking which files, SKUs or IDs changed between two exports
  • Merging two lists without duplicates

Built for large lists

Comparison uses hash sets, so time grows linearly with the size of your lists. Comparing two lists of 100,000 lines takes a fraction of a second.

Lines that appear more than once across both lists combined — including lines repeated within one list.

What does “All unique” show?

Every distinct line from both lists, once — the union of A and B.
